Main Features
This Type of nut is made of a very wear-resistant perfectly self-lubrificating plastic. It doesn’ t require any other lubrication as long as it is in use. The 3 x d length gives better load distribution and limits wear. The flange dimensions make them fully interchangeable with the FTN, FXN, HDL and HAL (total length and flange thickness are variable).
These nuts are to be assembled only on our precision rolled screws which have suitable surface roughness and hardness. It is not possible to assemble MPH on screws made by machining. Be careful of the water-absorption of this material; it is not recommended for precision coupling due to the considerable dimesional variation resulting from relative humidity of the environment. Before selecting the plastic nut type it is recommended to consult our engineering department.
